This sad story happened to a mom on the MRT. A handicapped man couldn't control himself for unknown reason and hit one of the children sitting in mum's double stroller. It must have been really terrifying and traumatizing for the child. This incident might have been caused by the recent heatwave but this is just speculation.The last thing we want at Taiwan Observer is to cause somebody to worry or be anxious. However it is a well-known fact that during the summer months there is an increase in psychiatric hospitalizations. Take care everyone and watch out during this crazy heat. Make sure you and your loved ones are sound and safe.
